BOAT

myboat2.jpg

A view of the forward cockpit. The wheel is probably original, as it has the "Lone Star" logo, but its location (starboard side of foward cockpit) is not. It is also too close to the side, as the throttle lever runs into it.

The title for the boat lists it as a 1953 Lone Star Ranger.  From my research, the 1953 catalog did not show a hull like this, nor did Lone Star make a Ranger model in 1953.  Someone sent me a page from the 1956 catalog, which shows a Clipper (first page) of the same configuration.  Since the 1957 catalog has a simular hull, but different topside configuration (the Malabu), I'm guessing mines a 54, 55, or 56.  The hull number (42-45628) can probably be used to trace it, but I haven't had any luck.  If you have any information, please email.
